THE OBJECTIVE

Starting a new journey with live shopping

Elgiganten has always been renowned for providing top-tier tech products, appliances, and gadgets, along with a strong focus on exceptional customer service. With the aim of establishing a closer relationship with their customers, Elgiganten set out to find a solution that would allow them to involve their entire community. By adopting live shopping, Elgiganten can continue to deliver outstanding customer service while also showcasing the latest technologies available at their store.

We’ve done 1-to-1 live shopping for several years, but doing one-to-many live shopping is a completely new way of working for us, but we’re super excited to see how far we can go with it.

THE SETUP

Looking for an easy solution to create booming results

Deciding to host live shopping events for their entire community was easy. But Elgiganten wanted a solution that was user-friendly and could create results fast! Using Sprii as their platform, Elgiganten brought in Hannah, their own E-commerce Campaign Specialist, to host their first live shopping show. She joined forces with the prominent food blogger, Rasmus Smedstrup, to connect all the dots for a fun and entertaining live shopping event.

The Sprii team and platform help us to “go live” in the easiest possible way.

RESULTS & ACHIEVEMENTS

Engaging almost 11,000 people at once

Elgiganten's inaugural live shopping event with Sprii turned out to be a huge success, with almost 11,000 viewers tuning in to the one-hour session. The event was executed seamlessly, featuring Hannah showcasing a range of kitchen gadgets, and Rasmus providing the audience with valuable recipes and tips to make the most of these culinary tools. As a result, the event generated over 37,000 engagements on Facebook, which is quite a remarkable achievement for a debut live event.

Going live is a great way for us to entertain and interact with our customers. We want our lives to be helpful to the viewers because that’s also what we want customers to experience in our stores.
